ATMA Foundation runs a home for rescued girls in Thrissur, a railway help desk for lost children, a free counselling line used by thousands of families a year, and relief operations after every major flood. Twenty-one years in, we're still learning — but the work goes on.

A Voluntary Organisation Rooted in Kerala
ATMA Foundation (Association for Total Mobilisation Action) is a non-profit voluntary organisation in the social sector, established in 2003 and headquartered in Thrissur, Kerala. We work with children, adolescents, youth, women, senior citizens and rural communities.
Our programmes span education and empowerment, care and protection of vulnerable groups, health and wellness, and holistic community development. We believe every individual deserves dignity, opportunity and a supportive community.

What We Do
Our four core programme areas address the most pressing needs of vulnerable communities across Kerala and India.
Care & Protection of Vulnerable Groups
We operate ATMA Gurukulam Girls' Home, providing residential care for vulnerable girls. Our Railway Child Help Desk has assisted over 1,116 children found in distress at railway stations across Kerala.
Education & Empowerment
Over 1,10,000 children and youth have been empowered through our individual development programmes. We also train teachers and parents to create healthier learning environments.
Health & Wellness
Our health programmes include free counselling for over 3,100 families, mental health awareness camps, and community wellness initiatives with a holistic approach to well-being.
Community Development
We have provided disaster relief and rehabilitation to over 8,000 families in 50 villages. Digital and financial empowerment training has reached 5,000+ persons in rural communities.
